The Palliative Care Unit at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah, UiTM, together with Ziyara Muslim Spiritual Care and The Clinical Pastoral Education program at CPE of Central California (CPECC) - unit accredited by Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) concluded the Spiritual Care training for Healthcare Providers recently.
The programme featured 2 weeks of physical spiritual care training with ACPE-certified trainers and the training will continue online until mid August.
Thank you to the trainers Dr David Johnson, Dr Ted Hodge and Dr Kamal Abu Shamsieh (with Dr Jan Yusk, Dr Kido Ahn and Rev Joseph Kim at CPECC) for opening a whole new world of connecting to our patients and those around us.
Our Council's Treasurer, Dr. Diana Katiman is instrumental to this development and we hope that this journey continues.
